While I personally find the idea of saying, "I'm a 1st level Batman" a little abhorrent, my friend came up with the class, and it seems to work fairly well. Basically, take a ranger, and fiddle with a few things. Your first favored enemy is humans. Second is meta-humans. Third is aliens. Fourth is, like, predators or something (didn't he fight those at some point?). Fifth is dragons. Because, c'mon, you know Batman could do it. Replace wild empathy with a bonus to Intimidate equal to your Batman class level. Replace the ranger fighting style with a new Batman fighting style. The first feat granted is Improved Unarmed Strike. Thereafter, the Batman gets Exotic Weapon Proficiency (batarang) and Diehard. Replace woodland stride with: "Once per day, as a free action, if a Batman is in the presence of only characters that are not hostile, or hostile characters that he has successfully intimidated, the Batman may disappear through the nearest window with no one noticing, as if under the effects of time stop. The Batman may only use this ability if the window can be opened, and if he is not in danger from any sort of trap." Replace his spells with daily-use gadgets that have effects such as smoke bombs, light bursts, radio tracking, and shark repellent. Replace animal companion with Boy Wonder. This functions as the leadership feat, except that it only grants a single cohort, and no followers. The cohort must be below the legal age for adulthood.
