The Best Adventure I Never Wrote: Winner!

"Moving Day" and the "Cross City Race" were my favorites out of all of 'em. I went with "Cross City Race", mainly because I want to see the non-combat action movie bits. :)

I thought "Fane of Last Light" sounded a bit ambitious for a presumably fairly short Dungeon adventure, and the whole "climactic battle where your high level PCs have none of their powers or stuff" sounded a bit railroady, potentially player-aggravating, and tricky to balance & be fun (woo, a wizard with no powers and no gear -- I hope you enjoy the "Aid Another" action).

Oh, poo! I voted for Moving Day and was hoping to see that one make it. Now that I know it was Ari Marmell who submitted that proposal I'm doubly sure it was the best one waiting to be written.

Moving Day was also my favorite (of those that made it out of the first round of voting, at least -- don't remember the others). I didn't quite see the appeal of the race all along, actually. Oh well. It's still free!

That's why I voted for "Cross City Race"... I figure the adventure itself will either be gold or it'll be very, very lame; it's a crap-shoot, really. Either way, it will probably at least have some yoink-worthy non-combat encounters appropriate for an urban crawl, and that's just gravy.

Congrats indeed to whomever submitted the "Cross City Race" proposal. :)

Gaaaaaaah! I forgot to vote!

Well, my favourite proposal won. When it's done, I'll adapt it to WFRP and run it in my Altdorf campaign.
