The best anti-caster tactic

Which do you think is typically the most effective way to screw an enemy spellcaster within 3.5? I wanted to post a poll, but I would surely put too few options, so it's better to have a normal thread.

Consider a single optimized character o monster (unless noted) designed to hamper enemy spellcasters as much as he can.

For example, I can think of the following possible ideas (not necessarily good):

- grapple
- trip
- ready attacks to break concentration
- counterspells
- spell resistance
- many small foes flanking
- silence spells
- antimagic field

Ok, I should have said "3.5 corebooks only". Of course your own material is core in your games :)

PS
Nothing to do with the thread, but I like your way of modifying the Cleric (Priest).

Grapple, Pin, Damage. Repeat until caster is dead. To ensure you've got him, bring a a pair mid to high level rogues along that ready (sneak) attacks to disrupt any othr casting.

Because of the line in the 3.5 grapple description that specifically says you can stop your opponent from speaking at your discretion if you have him in a pin, most casters won't have a chance.

Multiple Attacks, Grapple, Pin.

Are you looking more towards Arcane or Divine?

Both. Also single effective spells can be pointed out, such as Touch of Idiocy, Feeblemind, if you think they are just the best way to go...
