Of course now and then the world gets wrecked and nobody has yet quite figured out how come history doesn't get wrecked. Honestly, its a mystery, like most other things. I have considered running a really much darker sort of PoL though, maybe starting with "as far as you know, Fallcrest is the last inhabited town on Erth..."</blockquote>
