It was the original reason I decided to shop at Thoughthammer, but it didn't end up making the cut. But then I decided to plunge in anyways, since I likely wouldn't get another chance to give it a try.</p><p></p><p><a href="http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/42444" target="_blank">Batt'l Kha'os</a> Annoying name aside, this game looks like it could be interesting. I always feel a little guilty about buying 2 player games since I rarely get to play them, but this was cheap and </p><p></p><p><a href="http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/22141" target="_blank">Cleopatra and the Society of Architects</a> This game first appeared on my radar a long time ago when Days of Wonder had a promo where you'd get it for free with a $50 order. Unfortunately, they ran out by the time I got the "ok" to make the order. :/ But thoughthammer had it on clearance...</p><p></p><p><a href="http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/9220" target="_blank">Saboteur</a> I seem to have an affection for games with hidden roles, e.g. Werewolf, BSG (the only coop game I like), Are You the Traitor... This game is cheap and looks interesting, so I tossed it in there as well.</p><p></p><p><a href="http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/45134" target="_blank">Arcana</a> Hadn't heard of this game, just found it while looking for things to bring my order above the $100 free shipping threshhold. I read some reviews of it and it sounded interesting enough. Since reading about the pushed-back-to-2010 Thunderstone, I've been wanting a new game with a similar mechanic to Dominion and this hit that spot nicely and at a nice price point.</p><p></p><p><a href="http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/40793" target="_blank">Dice Town</a> Something about this game makes me think it might appeal to casual or non-gamers, and I can always use more games with that quality. Nice aesthetics, interesting concept, and finally a use for poker dice!</p><p></p><p>Last, and in fact least, the two currently-available expansions for Small World, <a href="http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/57070" target="_blank">Grand Dames</a> and <a href="http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/57072" target="_blank">Cursed</a>. I feel that these were both a bit more expensive than I'd like to pay, given what you get, but Small World is a game that I do get to play more than many other games, so if the additions make that more interesting then I suppose they are a good investment.</p></blockquote><p></p>
