The Book of Dragons - Subclasses

I'm concerned about the dragon druid's dragon shape. Level/2 in CR sounds powerful, especially since they're still a Druid when they're out of dragon shapes. The reduced duration just means they'll only use it for hardish fights.

It does, doesn't it?
Unfortunately it's not that great.
Dragons range from CR 1-3, 6-8, and then we get into adults and ancients.

I think the slight boost over a moon driid (1/2 rather than 1/3) is offset by not being able to do it as a bonus action, not being able to heal while wildshaped, and not being able to carry it through multiple fights.

I think it's just going to have to be playtested to find the sweet spot.

Besides, what's more dramatic than one of the party turning into a dragon to change the tide of battle when all seems lost?
