Personally, I don't think any template should take away a dragon's breath weapon, including this one, since it is part of what makes a dragon unique. Yes, it requires the designer to bend the rules, but no rule should ever be so rigid that it can't be bent in the interest of a better game. I would make the same argument if this template were applied to a beholder or a mind flayer.</blockquote>
