Yep. Mystic Secrets was certainly a stellar entry for Mike in AU. (Not 100% mechanic AU sound but damn it was a fun read! :) )
 


I'm under an NDA, so I can't say anything specific.

But personally, I like it a great deal. I thing a great many DMs will find it useful, and it could make some games a lot more fun.
 

I'm looking forward to it ever since the sneak comment on Ironborn somewhere, and that they specifically do not work like warforged.
 

While I've given up on most of Malhavoc's stuff after BoHM, this book really really intrigues me. And no PrCs does get a thumbs-up from me...

I certainly won't ask you to offer any details that would even tread close to your NDA. I'm all too familiar with them.

On a very general level... How many of these maneuvers are just cool ways of using what already exists in game, and how many introduce brand new mechanics? The last thing D20 combat needs, IMO, is more complexity on a mechanical level. More options, yes, and if that's primarily what this offers, I'll definitely look into it. More numbers/rolls/checks to remember, not so much.
