The crew responds well to Brudd's offer of help. They show him (and any others interested) many things about the ship and sailing it which they didn't know before. Everything goes smoothly and the ship sails quick and fast to the south of Daunton for several hours. Enough for everyone to get some sleep in along with Girth. (In case anybody has used any Daily powers, they are reset now and everyone is fully healed with all Surges reset.) You wake up to find the sun rising over the island of Mykonos' Sanctuary. Seabirds wheel through the sky calling to one another and the docks ahead are bustling with activity. Mooring the ship once again, Captain and landing party set off through the town to the outskirts. There they find a stone house in the midst of construction. Several dwarves are working together crafting the stone and setting it all up in very precise ways which look pleasing to the eye despite them not being completed yet. Asking around, you soon locate Thorendin. The dwarf is typical of his kind: a long braided beard, but balding on top. His clothes are dusty and small chips of stone are lodged in his beard. After a quick explanation as to your mission from Redblade, the dwarf nods and responds. "I knew he'd send somebody eventually. Here's the deal though..." OOC:To be continued... Brain not working right now. Stupid outside dog barking nonstop woke me up well before the 5:55 am alarm was set to go off. Couldn't sllep, so I got on here. Falling asleep at keyboard though, so I'll be back later at work to finish this post. Mornings like this I wish I drank coffee. [sblock=Digger]Let Girth continue to add to his carvings there on the ship and expand it out as time goes on. If I do come up with a sequel for this adventure, those marks may play a part. Keep them mysterious though. Don't define them in detail beyond what you have already.[/sblock]
