Xaion, on high alert, is there instantly, crossbow pointed at the being's chest in an unmistakably threatening posture.  The being turns towards him and stretches out its other hand, and for a moment Xaion seems to... diminish.[sblock=Xaion]GM intrusion - There is a feeling of being drained, and you feel your mental powers begin to diminish, your cyphers going dark.  Using either Deflect Attack or your cyphers for a while will be two steps harder than normal.  Accept intrusion, or no?[/sblock]---Above the chamber, Wisco and Duncan linger by the spring.  Another batch of abhumans abruptly separate from the wall, but instead of floating off to the left plate like the last batch, they immediately "hatch" and begin to assemble in a formation.  A pulse of color flashes from the ceiling, and the abhumans begin to march straight for the spring... and you!</blockquote>
