For reference, here's the quote that we have on the Red Death, "It starts with the mark, then when the illness gets to its worst, they stop eating, isolating themselves from others due to paranoia and eventually either disappear entirely or, if approached by others, in a starved craze, they attack them, scratching and biting. It's not something that spreads extremely easily, but it means everyone has to be cautious. You may bump into the infected sometimes, which is fine so long as they're hanging around with their friends or family and are making conversation, but it's the quiet and lonely ones you have to watch, especially if you see 'em talking to themselves or flickering their eyes around cautiously or if you see them dribble from their mouths." Maybe Alejandro didn't need to knock him unconscious, but it's certainly the easiest way to get him to the Pelorites. As for Daedarai, if he sees one of his partners making a big move (like yelling a warning and trying to knock a guy out), he'll do his best to support it. I was going to cast sleep, but I think it's still too new for it to be instinct for him. If it turns out we actually knocked him unconscious (not a guarantee), I'm sure we'll all have some quips to throw in.
