[QUOTE="Halford, post: 4575222, member: 64844"] OOC: On aiding, just both make rolls the aide will add to the highest check. The following is from my mememory of Eberron's Warforged, I believe it is pretty close to the mark, but reserve the right to change my mind :p. Palindrome's impromptue autopsy turns up a few things immediately, as soon as he moves the corpse he discovers that Forged do indeed have blood, though it is more like a thick tree sap than anything else Palindrome has encountered. The blood is coming from beneath the body and upon rolling it over Palindrome can see a significant number - possibly as many as a hundred - puncture wounds consistent with a rapier or similar blade. Cutting away, with some difficulty the Wizard finds a series of tough, but moderately flexible plates which appear to be the Forged's muscles - again the closest description seems to be plant based like fiberous roots. The creatures skeleton appears to be a harder rigid root wood like substance. Interestingly the roots appear to fuse seemlesly into the outer metal plateing, though they can be easily removed. The remaining eye is an odd and delicate little mechanism - although the word does not seem quite right - it seems to be a thin metal covering over a small mirrored chamber filled with fine silvery filaments which dissolve upon the Wizard's fingertips when/if he touches a few. Adie meanwhile is watching Palindrome and leans over his shoulder to watch his progress. She appears remarkably unpeturbed. [sblock=Perception 20]Inside one of the vases Woe sees a familiar sight amidst the dry willow stems, two feet of dried weird root - typically this is soaked in liqor and then chewed. From his experience Woe knows it to be valued at around fifty crowns. Aiding is allowed for this as I don't want to faff about making checks to see if everyone recognizes Weird Root, so for the moment we will assume that either Woe notices it or someone remarks, "What is this weord rooty thing?".[/sblock] [sblock=Weird Root]Kinda stolen form Warhammer, in name only, Weird root enhances the senses and renders a person more empathetic whilst dulling their reaction time and creating distorted, but generally pleasent memories.
