Palindrome points out the wounds to his comrades. "I'd hazard a guess that our 'swashbuckling' member of the Crossroaders had something to do with this. Dalliances of the Storm God! I'd still like to know from whence came this blood." Palindrome is chuckling and chirruping. "Neat! You guys have got to see this!" he holds the eyeball in front of his face, "Get it? See?" He pockets the eyeball. [sblock=Request for elaboration...]Was the missing eyeball pulled out or poked out? In other words, does it look like someone destroyed the eyeball in a fight or pulled it out after the Forged croaked?[/sblock] Absorbed in the dissec...er...autopsy, Palindrome finally notes Adie's presence. He scowls, then whirls, "BOO!" And flicks some of the Forged's sap-blood in her face.
[OOC: Whatever her response, Palindrome will say, "So, Adie, did you take any of the weird root today?"]
Palindrome cracks down on the business of searching the apartment. (Too bad he forgot to bring a crowbar.) This is not a gentle search. This is a cutting the cushions open (unless obviously valuable and easy to re-sell), prying up the floor-boards, tumping over the furniture, Attilla-the-Hun-has-come-for-a-visit sort of search. A systematic, ruthless, methodical search, punctuated by the occassional Detect Magic to be absolutely, positively nothing is missed. And it might end with a 'setting the whole place on fire and see what explodes' double-check of the contents of the apartment... Here's the skill checks:

Perception. (1d20+2=18)
Arcana (Detect Magic).
