Palindrome mutters, "You want rude, *****-*****. I'll ****** give you ****** rude. I will re-*****-de-******-fine ****** ****** rude for you." He stomps over to Arnest and ties up the cultist, starting with hands, then elbows, then hog-tying his feet to his hands. He gags and blindfolds the wizard, tearing off strips of Arnest's clothing. He pulls out his hatchet and whacks Arnest upside the head (using the blunt end), giving him a nice concussion. And proceeds to break Arnest's hands, elbows, kneecaps, and toes. (Again, using the blunt end of the hatchet.) "I'd like to point out that I didn't cut anything off of him. We might want to return him to his grandmother, and I'm pretty sure if we dope him up and starve him for a few days, we can make him delirious enough to brainwash him into believing he was falling down drunk and run over by a carriage while lying in the gutters of the nice side of town." As a piece de resistance, Palindrome takes out a bit of twine and very, very tightly binds Arnest's crushed pinkies together, cutting off the bloodflow and setting the stage for gangrene. If Arnest remains bound for a day or so, and no one bothers to cut off his fingers before untying him, the infection will release into his bloodstream, effectively killing him. --- Palindrome is not so kind with the unconscious Snake Lady. Whistling a jaunty tune, he binds her and removes several important pieces of anatomy: eyes (one of which goes in his pockets), thumbs, big toes, and hamstrings. Then, he scoops up some of the goo from the undead dog, stuffs it in her mouth, and gags her. "Okay. You guys ready for the interrogation?"
