A 'spirit' rises and kisses Arnest on the forehead, then the Snake Lady. It devolves into a serpent, wrapping its tail around Arnest's throat and poising its fangs above the Snake Lady's neck. It vanishes.Palindrome's eyes open. For a moment, they glow. He speaks with an unearthly voice, "SPEAK THE TRUTH!
