Round 3 Kathalia's form twists and bends in unnatural ways. Her newly elongated jaws lash out, dropping both adjacent zombies to the ground, unmoving. Her hide bristles with menace, causing the golem to shy away. Woe takes heart at the display, recovering some of his strength. Hacker plays a string of discordant notes on his banjo, further tormenting the poor golem's psyche. The magically enhanced sonic vibrations break up the embers on Woe's clothing and restore him to full consciousness. Atreus appears out of nowhere, dagger flashing through the air. Once again, it carves away a chunk of mismatched flesh before returning to the rogue's hand. Woe, finally fully with it, charges the golem, planting his boots in its chest. It falls, but catches Woe alongside the head with a flailing fist as it does so. Woe sees stars again, but somehow manages to pull on his reserves long enough to stab at the heaving mass of flesh again and again. The golem doesn't stay down long. It pushes back to its feet and goes into a whirling frenzy of destruction, bellowing rage and flailing its three long arms in every direction. It lumbers forward, nearly trampling on Woe, and, making no attempt at defense, lurches all over the cave before coming to a dizzy stop on the other side of Hacker. Its rampage takes a toll; Atreus, Hacker, and Kathalia have all taken solid blows, leaving them reeling. The remaining zombie, seeing Kathalia's blood pooling beneath her, charges past Woe and attempts to fasten its teeth on her neck. At the last second, it slips in that very same blood, and only gets a mouthful of wet fur. The goblin hexer has better aim. It quickly forms a curse between its hands, a sickly greenish blob of malice manifested as ectoplasmic goo. It hurls the curse, which lands cleanly on Kathalia's head, sinking into her fur and disappeaering. Immediately her eyes turn white and roll up in her head; she collapses, unmoving.
