The pages are very dense with encounters and very little fluff. While it's true that in our playtests, characters didn't advance to 4th level by the end of the first adventure (for example), they were very close to 4th level and could have gotten there with random encounters and/or side adventures. Each of the three adventures does provide information for expanding the adventure for further quests.Also, before each major encounter site, I provide the recommended levels for your party to adventure there. This can be a useful tool for DMs to guage the power of their parties; if they aren't at that level, try to get them a little XP before adventuring there.
