Anyone else notice it looks like the cover of an old Ravenloft product? Forget if it was the original module, but it's the one with Strahd standing a balcony brooding, flanked by gargoyles.

It is vaguely similar, but I suppose you could say that about other covers, as well. And I do believe it was from the original module (ah, memories..............)
As for Midnight, I will agree that it is well done, though I haven't finished reading it yet! Some of my current players may have trouble adapting to the gloominess of the setting, but others will fit right in. Unfortuately, they would kill me if I forced them to make new characters, as we are only part way into our Scarred Lands campaign. So many games, so little time!!!!
