Phil, you hurt me so... Now for another typical post in the 4E threads: "The guy that states he has enough stuff with 3E material that he likely won't buy 4E." :D To be honest, I could care less if 4E comes out. It's not so much as issue of having so much material with the current edition that I could keep playing for the rest of my days and not go over areas I've covered in prior campaigns. It's more of an issue of for the first time in my nearly 20 years of gaming in one form or another, I'm totally content with games I run. Granted, I'm working on my own MOTHER OF ALL HOUSERULE DOCS to combine all of the elements from various fantasy D20 sources into one easy to use book. (That way I don't have to haul multiple books around.) However, that very fact that I'm going through all that trouble means that I'm more than happy with the system. If, and from all documented proof that's a big IF, 4E comes out in the next year or two. I'll give it a look. If it's compatible with 3.5 or far and away better, I'll pick it up. I'll give it a look-see either way if for nothing else than curiosity, but I can't say for certain that I'll buy it. I've been cutting back more and more lately on my purchases, so the coming of 4E could actually save me a lot of money. Except if guys like Phil keep churning out great D20 material for 3.5 and the Modern line. ;) Kane
