I think in a few of Monte Cook's books, he made vague and mysterious references to an entity known as the "Dark Plea".

The material in Hyperconscious and When the Sky Falls has most of what's been said about it. (You have both those, right?)

Side note, the Dark Plea is more Bruce Cordell's baby.

A type of meteor used therein is called the Engram Ark... basically, it's a lifeboat with the last survivors of a world destroyed by the Dark Plea. There's some magic material related to the Dark Plea, and the Hungry Dreamer from Hyperconscious first appeared there.

I don't have a copy of the book with me at the moment to recall more specific details.

Psion's right in that those "engrams" meteors tend to have some relationships to the Dark Plea and often have some of its most powerful servants on board.

That being said Hyperconscious is probably your best bet for understanding the Dark Plea.
