I went and saw it a few hours ago. Now, I'm not the type of guy who concentrates on the bad aspects of a movie. I enjoyed Independence Day, and was able to ignore things like F/A-18s being the only type of fighter used by all military branches and a computer virus bringing down an alien invasion. The Day After Tomorrow was bad. Laughably so. It's the type of movie that I'd like to see on Mystery Science Theater 3000. There were some moments in the movie that almost made me burst out laughing, such as the CGI wolves that suddenly show up at the most inconvienient time for the heroes, the people running from the cold air (reminds me of all those action movies where people run from explosions), the heavy-handed environmentalist messages, and the extremely far-fetched science in the movie (ice ages are slow, gradual processes, they don't happen over the course of two weeks). Yeah, and what's up with all those James Bond movies? Every single James Bond movie boils down to some british guy saving the world. I swear, Bond movies totally must be funded by the British government. (Where for art thou, rolleyes smilie?)
