That would be something to clear with the DM, who'd have to decide if the faen gods are real, or if there are spirits out there that will respond to their entreaties. It does recommend the Eldritch Warrior from BOEM II, which IMO is a really cool class. (Admitted fanboy here though.) The setting recommends five of the six PrCs from the 3.0 rules (loremaster, assassin, dwarven defender, shadowdancer, and arcane archer), which are a much better fit. If you wanted to use the above classes, you'd have to run a hybrid 3.0/3.5 game and do some customization.
