But with all my games in the Warhammer world their is always a twist and a way back. It's up to the the player to find it. Isn't that why you all play. To all who want to complain and bitch about the way 'DEAD' was treated, mabey you just like a simple hack and slash!!! Keep playing your simple games and leave the best Dms' to do their jobs. And thats kepping the players guessing. I NEVER LET THE PLAYERS KNOW WHAT THE CHAMPAIN WILL BE LIKE OR THE DIRECTION OF THE CHAMPAIN. Why you'll all say? Well thats the best way to run a game. the players give all the direction, they through their game playing direct the flow and direction and sometimes that is an interesting challenge for a Dm. I still need to have fun and this is how I get it. The players have been gameing with me for 5 years and still want more. before this group I Dm'ed for 8 years playing D&D. I write all my own material and never, never follow the rules as writen. They are a guide to be used to help run a game. Providing you keep note of rule changes and are consistent. He has since left the party (only because the others were sucked through a portal) and gone on to finish a quest.
The Dm's Reply What can I say, to a player who has just been converted by the holy book of Tzeentch. This was a holy artifact that was being hunted by witch hunter and with the threat of destruction. Of course this book was no ordinary book. Tzeentch being the changer of ways has the uncanny ability to effect even the strong minded Dwarves. He then had the choise to save his (companions) or leave them trapped in the extra dimentional world were their Chaos God had no contact with them. Guess what he did?? Currently they are attempting to slay the Evil one Nagash to those who know this ultra EVIL dude . Yes it is interesting to control a multi personality filled game But I challenge all of you out there to give it a go. When you do and suceed let Rimple Serf know.
