The Dragon Compendium & Amazon.com

The Dragon Compedium is on my list of must buys. I don't have a credit or debit card soI can't order through the Paizo website. Apparently my Amazon-Fu is not strong because I couldn't find it there. I was wondering if someone might be able to give me a hand.

Question: Is the Dragon Compendium anything like the Draconomicon? Because if it is: Just get that, regardless, if you want to RP dragons properly (either as a DM or a player) then you've gotta get the Draconomicon. What's so great about the Dragon Compendium?

You have ze wrong end of le stick I think. The Dragon Compendium is an up-to-date (i.e. 3.5 Edition) reworking of old Dragon Magazine articles.

From some of the threads on the Paizo boards it looks like they are trying to get some of the bigger, mainstream booksellers to stock them, but having mixed results.

All,

We are currently evaluating proposals and investigating opportunities to partner with book distributors. We have not decided upon a partner yet, and it is likely that the DC will be available primarily through the hobby channel and at paizo.com. Future books, however, should be equally available in hobby and book stores.
