Since Mr. Boyd and GMS both frequent here, I have a question-

What are the 18 sources (ie, could you please post section 15)? I will probably buy it anyways, I just want to make sure I don't own them all.

Hi Derek. Gah, just call me Bret; "Mr." makes me sound old. :) I've called Gareth's attention to your question and will let him answer that. I can tell you that I've taken monsters not just from 3.5 books but updated ones from 3.0 books as well to give you a good sampling of beasties. One book in particular should make people happy for the upgrade--a certain little Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary in fact. ;)

(Oh, and by the way, would you mind emailing me at dmbretb AT comcast DOT net ? I've got a couple dragonkin goodies to pass your way.)

Whoops! Miscounted. That should be 16 (17 if you include the SRD, but we don't actually include any SRD creatures,), so I'll go make the edit in the description.

Do you have a Table of Contents that you'd be willing to share or another preview of some sort? This looks cool, I just would like to know a little more...

While you might recognize some of the monster names, many had to be changed to abide by the OGC declarations of the particular sources. Black skeleton, for example, is lifted from the Tome of Horrors II. On the other hand, my fog spirit is a renamed version of the mistwalker from Creature Collection Revised. In many cases, since only the stats and combat info were OGC, many of the monsters needed to be reworked from the bottom up. I'd bet that even the original creators wouldn't recognize some of these beasties. ;)

According to Section 6 of the OGL (quoted above), you have to include the full Section 15 of any product who's OGC you use, adapt or modify.

Necromancer’s Legacy—Thee Compleat Librum ov Gar’Udok’s Necromantic Artes Copyright 2002, Mystic Eye Games & Ambient Inc.

As you list Necromancer's Legacy in your section 15, I'm curious why you don't have the rest of the Section 15 from Necromancer's Legacy in there. (The full Section 15 for NL is pretty long, being in itself 21 items)

That would be because Bret didn't forward it along. Whoops. I'll get him to send me an updated listing, and make the edit immediately. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Well, that turned out alright.

Thank you Mr. Skarka for posting both. I will be buying this in the morning. Now all I have to do is convince the undead loving friend of mine that this is worth his money.
