Re: stuff You know what, likudice, I apologize. I mean that sincerely because I shouldn't have said what I said. I have always enjoyed this forum precisely due to the civil nature of most of the conversations and I should not have said something that runs counter to that. The thing is that you said: Without rehashing this whole business, you are assuming some facts that are not in evidence. From reading the accounts by the folks who participated in the game, it seems that the bad guys were dishing out spell damage pretty quick and several party members were getting hit. I think if the druid player were sitting at the table he should have had some idea that the PsyWar was having a rough time of it. At the point at which the PsyWar finally spoke up and effectively said, "Ahem! Medic!", the druid opted to cast a defensive spell that doesn't sound like it was necessary prior to stepping up to heal the PsyWar. That's a far cry from "whining when he's low on hit points". Clearly a number of other folks felt that yours was an unfair characterization of the PsyWar based on personal feelings that had little to do with the information presented by the participants. When they called you on it, you felt that they did so in too harsh a tone and said, Perhaps they were too harsh in their tone, perhaps not. Regardless you did nothing to lower the heat in the air by calling them "incredibly narrow minded people who seem to get their rocks off on belittling people". And effectively saying to folks who disagree with you, "I'm taking my ball and going home!", is not exactly the pinnacle of maturity. I felt, in rash haste, like replying with something I felt equally immature and made my last reply. As I said before, I regret it. That does not however change the fact that you would be far better served in the future by trying to calmly explain your position again, in as clear and concise a way as possible, rather than lashing out at those who disagree with you. Using capital letters once in a while wouldn't hurt either, but that's up to you. I hope you are able to move beyond any negative feelings you have right now and have a long, enjoyable time here at ENWorld.
