[QUOTE="R_J_K75, post: 9097846, member: 6921294"] I went into my guitar room yesterday to do some tinkering, string changes, etc. and realized I literally have no room left to move around in there, so I took a nap. A better man would have said "I should re-arrange things to create more room, I have too many guitars", instead, being the lesser man that I am I said to myself, "I'll just add a lower tier of String Swings, I don't have enough guitars". Has any guitar player ever said, "I have too many guitars, amps, pedals and accessories"? I don't think so... Anyone interested these are great, screw a 2 x 4 to wall studs and space these 6-12 inches apart and you're all set, just measure twice and cut once and account for height. Make sure to position the string swing low enough from the ceiling that you don't hit the head stock on the ceiling when you go to put them back. Especially with the 17-degree angle on a Les Paul headstock that are known to break if you look at them the wrong way. These hangers are sturdy too, you just have to tighten the swing angle screw every now and again. You'd be surprised how much street road traffic vibration from outside can loosen these types of things. I say this as a word of caution as 95 out of 100 times i.e. I've gone to put a guitar on the wall and its kind of a rote action, had no problems, but more than a few times when going to put a guitar back on the wall the hanger is loose and moves and if you're not careful it is ending up dropping on the floor. It's never come to that, and I fully endorse and trust these but just a warning based on my XP. Hercules also makes great products too if you're not a fan of wall hanging.
