Yeah, that doc has a pretty good breakdown of bands through the years, and the diversity. The doc stopped before 2000. I'm surprised Bob Geldof didn't fly in by helicopter and try to take some credit for organizing part of it. I'm still pissed. Pretty sure my brother's and a bunch of my friends went to '92 in Barrie, ONT, and didn't invite me, tell me they were getting tickets. Day of y brother's friend left the tickets at home after they were already there. Bri: Kenny, you got the tickets? Kenny: Yeah, they're right.... FUDGE, they're on my kitchen table. They got replacements off scalpers rather than driving 3 hours back to Buffalo. Closest anything like Lolla came close to us was Clash of the Titans 1990 AIC, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth. The mosh pit from Slayer was so big you couldn't see the stage from all the dust. My friend still claims they pulled a dead girl out of the pit. You couldn't even walk 30 feet without walking into a mini mosh pit. Then Ozzfest came with 80 bands I could care less about, but it was OG Sabbath and Maiden. I saw Maiden 5 or 6 times, but less than I've seen the Black Crowes. Yeah it sucks but not much you can do. I will say, your quote about sob stories and stories of concert greatness, got me thinking living in Buffalo, we've had a good run of acts come through here or close to where Im satisfied. Alive, or were alive, I've seen everyone I wanted to see. I saw Big Elf. Buffalos always had a good music scene. Eddie Murphy recorded "Party All the Time" at Rick James house during the Blizzard of 85
