He steps back and looks between the two, still not completely certain that he hasn't in fact intruded upon something quite innocent - or at least blameless - and that he shouldn't simply leave as discretely as possible and inform the concerned guest that further noises from the room should be disregarded.  The mood doesn't seem right for that, though, and combined with Meadowbrook's demeanour which seems quite unlike one interrupted in the acts of passion, he decides that there surely must be some grain of truth in her claim that he has appeared in his current state of undress. "So... a rift, you say, deposited him? I'm afraid my arcane knowledge is somewhat lacking. What do you mean by that?"</blockquote>
