The Escapist reviews The Outer Presence

I came up with a proto-version of The Outer Presence in my quest for a super rules-lite knockoff of a popular, Lovecraftian, investigative horror RPG that shall remain nameless. Then I developed it during the Kickstarter campaign. My unnatural enjoyment of 70's cannibal films did the rest.

I'm not sure if it qualifies as "OSR", but my approach to game mechanics is heavily influenced by West End Games of the 80's.

The Escapist was kind enough to review one of Kort'thalis Publishing's recent books. Marshall Lemon has many good things to say about it: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/new...Kortthalis-Publishing#&gid=gallery_4785&pid=1

Always love, and buy, more Cthulhu stuff. Chaosium, Pelgrane (and anything Ken Hite), Cubicle 7, Golden Goblin, Delta Green/Unspeakable Oath, Cakebread & Walton, Miskatonic Press (RIP), Cthulhutech, Colonial Cthulhu,... i'll have to check this out.

(I guess I could have said "bright green on white makes for poor contrast" but since this is a cthuluoid thread...)
