@drexes They call themselves something that roughly translates to lost ones or out casts. They were part of an empire from across the sea. It was split when twin sons were born to the emperor. They were on the losing side of the war. But to save his people from being slaughtered the losing son killed himself so that his people might leave in exile. They lost their honor with the fall which explains alot of their somber feelings and tones. True I guess this is clouded by personal view. I am tall and by no means a small man. I'm 6 feet and 230 lbs so most people I see as thin. They came on huge war galleys and fought with the large southern empire. They had better overall weapons and armor than the empire and better overall level of training. What they didn't have was a vast empire of fodder. They were going to lose the war but in the end the council of princes offered them a this large penninsula to settle so that they didn't have to fight one of the northern kingdoms for it. In return the exiles taught the empire how to make better weapons and armor and trained many soldiers in their fighting techniques. They were from a single empire so there was only one culture, mostly chinese influenced. They lost a civil war and instead of being killed in shame by their actions their emperor gave up his honor so that his supporters could live. If only in exile. I am glad you like it. This stuff has been fermenting in my head for a long time. @spiralbound I am glad some people are taking an interest in my little creations. I hope the above has answered the questions well enough. Thanks again for the comments.
