[QUOTE="Endur, post: 1376928, member: 3346"] Targen the Ghost Sorceror The Sorceror Targen was once a kindly man. Targen is now a ghost and utterly insane. He was betrayed, murdered, and his soul sacrificed to the Abyss by the person who he loved the most, Nicae. He loved her as a father loves a child. In the Abyss, the Minions of Graz’zt tormented, lied, and brainwashed him to the point where he almost forgot his own name. They made him doubt his kindly nature and reduces his morals to the level of a fiend. A wandering hero slew the minion that kept Targen’s soul prisoner. His soul seeks redemption, but his mind is insane. To free himself of his ghostly chains, he has to redeem Nicae as he failed to do in life. Yet, the torture of the fiends has erased his memory of his purpose. The minions of Graz’zt have tricked him. They told him that in order to free himself of his ghostly chains, he has to make Nicae love him more than anyone else, then he has to betray, murder, and sacrifice her soul to Graz’zt. (Doing this would damn Targen’s soul completely, but as we mentioned previously, Targen is insane and doesn’t reason rationally right now.). Targen’s magical abilities have been changed radically by his time in the Abyss. Targen does not know how to accomplish his purpose. So he hangs around Nicae, sometimes haunting her, but mostly trying to be helpful so that she will trust him.
