The Fantaseum, an Alliance of Creative Communities including the Campaign Builders' Guild, Cartographers' Guild, and PlotStorming.com has new articles, maps, and fiction to help and entertain gamers, world builders, and fans of fantasy and sci-fi.

The Cartographers' Guild - a website where map makers and aficionados can examine, learn, and discuss every aspect of cartography - offers maps and advice:
This week's featured map. A walled ocean or river side city, suitable for any campaign. The creator, AidyBaby, also provides the design files to demonstrate his layering technique to help interested cartographers. And advice on planning and implementing high-detail cartography with virtual tabletop programs. The advice includes graphic and video examples.

PlotStorming.com - a creative community geared to helping writers and gamers brainstorm and improve their writing - offers prompts, plot seeds, and new fiction:
The Prompt Archive, is a large collection of writing prompts, plot seeds, and site seeds. It contains literally hundreds of prompts. And in the past week, writers have also contributed a handful of new tales to the Story Hour. Genres include pulp sci-fi, fantasy, modern fantasy, and even humor.

Finally, the sites will be concluding their individual monthly contests this week (the 24th), and that means more new maps, campaign setting locations, and fiction for the larger community.
