OOC: Felix, are you still with us? "Ha!" Ambassador Mollari exclaims to Felix's question, "The political arena. Fah! Let me tell you something about the tiefling political arena. There is a fish, I think you humans call it a remora, that attaches itself to sharks. You humans are now the sharks and we are the remora, hoping to bask in your glory. Oh, we were sharks once, but we have lost all of our teeth. We sell our historical artifacts to the highest bidders, all in the hopes that some of your greatness will rub off on us." He takes another lengthy swig of his drink before continuing, "My gods, man, we're a tourist attraction!" Amisi discovers that she is suddenly quite tipsy...perhaps more than tipsy as she finds herself wobbling a bit. Lenya and Markus notice that the humans with N'Grath are getting up to leave. N'Grath is looking smug as he orders another drink. G'Kar nods at Rhal's greeting, "And you are Tseg'Rhal, a victim of political circumstance, exiled for the convenience of the Kha'Ri." Rhal knew that the Kha'Ri were the ruling council of Na'Aern, once composed of the wisest elders but now composed primarily of former rebel leaders whose ambitions after the tiefling occupation led them to pursue positions of power and influence. G'Kar winked at Rhal before continuing, "Before you ask, it is my business to know everything I can about every son and daughter of Na'Aern living in this city. You present an interesting opportunity. I am in need of an official aide and it would infuriate the Kha'Ri to no end if I selected someone like you. Think about it, but in the meantime, I have another interest in being here tonight." His tone was warm and welcoming, but with a touch of deviousness. G'Kar was well known for using whatever tools were at his disposal to get what he wanted, like selling weapons to the humans during the Elf/Human War in exchange for official recognition of Na'Aern as an independent power, thus forcing the tieflings to accept the dragonborn as a full member of The Fifth City Advisory Council.
