You really want to get bowled over by the unwashed masses? Try attending a the World Science Fiction Convention, in whatever city it is in on any given year. Some of the worst offenders I have ever seen were at the WorldCon in Baltimore a few years ago (98 or 99). We actually had to have 3 people escorted out of the HarperPrism company party due to the stench and unhealthy behavior (like eating food barehanded off of the serving trays, and brushing food crumbs out of their beards over the buffet table). How they got into the party I don't know, but they caused quite a distraction while they were there.</p></blockquote><p></p>
