Message: <blockquote data-quote="Azul" data-source="post: 1911678" data-attributes="member: 11779">Another Canuk here.In Montreal:  Le Valet de Coeur on St-Denis has pretty much been *the* gaming shop for a few decades.  Best selection in any gaming shop I have ever seen in Canada (well, central Canada at least).  Only wandering the dealer's floor at GenCon did I see a better selection.  I haven't been there in a few years, but from what friends tell me it is still the top shop in the city.In Ottawa:  Fandom II on Laurier has the best selection in Ottawa but it's a bit of a pain to get to when you live in the west end burbs like I do.  The Comic Book Shoppe on Clyde Ave is my regular FLGS.  It has a smaller selection but has always treated me well and is more than willing to order stuff in if they don't stock it.  Nice guys.  The Silver Snail on Bank is ok I guess but it seems "meh" compared to the Toronto branch.In downtown Toronto:  Grey Regions on Yonge is great for their eclectic collection of older stuff.  I bought a 1st edition copy of Talislanta there back when even 3rd edition was nowhere to be found.  The Hairy Tarantula further south on Yonge was usually pretty good.  I find the Silver Snail on Queen is far better than its Ottawa counterpart although I usually went to the Snail for manga rather than gaming stuff.  There was a decent little shop on College near U of T but its name eludes me now (the World House?  something like that).In Vermont -- I seem to recall a pretty decent little shop called Quarterstaff Games in Burlington.  I haven't been to that city in almost a decade so I have no clue if they are still around.I used to know some gaming shops in Quebec City but it's just been too long now for me to recall names (let alone confirm which ones are still in business).</blockquote>
