[QUOTE="unan oranis, post: 4402370, member: 65462"] The disc will fall with speeds up to and including terminal velocity if the ground gives way beneath it, therfore its movement limits are refering only to its self volition. If it doesn't increase to match your modified speed, I guess ex.retreating wizards are leaving their discs behind... Anyway, Were the disc to be pushed by the wind, and offer no greater resistance than a balloon, the disc would definatly move. So does the disc offer resistance? It could "resist" the push or pull of a sail with the energy it uses for telekinetic self volition definatly, though that seems to be under the control of the wizard... The only way I see the boat not functioning as an awesome windsurfer is if you invented some magical provisions to the ritual bent on preventing that from happening. But as written, it seems that a wizard standing on a floating disc in a box car of a moving train would just be standing there, as the train rolled along with him and his disc. Imagine the wizard standing on a boat, locked onto the floating disc, in the box car of a moving train, nothing changes. Replace the train with a sail pulling the boat... your off to the races. Now being unable to tone down your thunderwave is a different matter. But for the price of a feat at least, it seems reasonable that a wizard capable of conjuring a physically damaging sonic blast that knocks people back with the force of air, would be able to conjure a very strong, steady wind!
