The forums are awefully quiet nowadays....

Y'know, ever since we moved to the current forums, there are a lot fewer folks registered or even viewing our forums or homepage, or so I've noticed.... There's also not a lot of posting going on, not many campaigns going...... We really need to get things active again! Whatever happened to all the creaters and co-creators of The 13 Kingdoms?!? What about the current Council Members? As far as I know, there are only around half a dozen T13K campaigns being run on-line currently, with maybe half or so run by Council Members... So what's up with this?!

Well, we did lose a lot of people from the move. These forums are IMHO much better, more stable, and regularly backed up (unlike when I was hosting them.)

Having our site hacked probably stopped a lot of other people from returning, though hopefully they will trickle in again now that the new site is up and we are posting news again.

The 2.0 setting guide will come out soon as well - this will I hope really help get things going again as well. I can say that the new guide is just so much better than the old one that I can't even describe it.

Also, 2.0 returns to standard races, so that will also help revitalize the system.

Frankly, however, with half a dozen campaigns going on my biggest disappointment is that DMs aren't posting their developments in the AREA or TAVERN forums as often as they used to (which I guess is to be expected considering the afformentioned factors.)

Yeah, we are in a rebuilding stage. We've been very active in the Council Member forums but in the Adventure areas, things are definitely light. After the 2.0 setting guide I hope we can go on a blitz on openrpg and have some open games there to expose people to what we're all about.

I see great things in the future for The 13 Kingdoms. It's just going to take a little time, a bit of work, and a little inspiration. I hope you can be a part of it.

Hi! Go to the "User CP" button at top, find the usergroups, and join the T13K Players group! Then you will be able to post in the taverns

Hey... It's Sly. Been a while I suppose, but I've had a lot of to deal with. I may become active within the next few weeks, but the chance of that happening is pretty low. I don't have time for games, though I might have time to drop by every now and then. If you guys need any help that doesn't require spending hours in front of the computer I could probably give you a hand. Just wanted to say hi, and all that.

I'm currently working on residential issues, primarily whether or not I'll even have a residence to reside in come january, lot's of things depend on luck right now. Hopefully once I find myself a new job and a new place to live I can find myself spending a little more time on T13K I'm currently in the play by post campaign that's up which is more activity than I've done this past year >.<

I can sympathize with you Renfield. Currently on my plate: child's (mine) death and funeral, death of a nephew, car accident, child support problems with my step-daughter's father demanding a paternity test, and other miscellaneous problems. I can just say that it's a whole lot of fun when life s on you.
