I think we'll want as wide a variety as we can get at first. As suggested we should also look at livestock. I am a decent judge of horseflesh but I know little enough about other animals. Finally, I think we should get gear for catching birds. We'll take birds of course, but we should try to domesticate some of the local fowl as well.
