Later on his packmates found out that he was stronger and more resilient than most young blink dogs, and he was accepted to hunt among the adults already at a young age. During one of these hunts the pack stumbled upon a cave that was inhabited by a family of displacer beasts. A bloody battle ensued, which the blink dogs won quite easily. As the others were leaving the scene, the young blink dog couldn't help noticing a pile of bones in the corner. Some of them were humanoid, some animals, and at least one was, apparently, a blink dog. Filled with anger, the blink dog started smashing at the bones, finding a set of bracers under the pile. He took them with him, thinking that they might prove useful.</span></p><p><span style="color: skyblue"></span></p><p><span style="color: skyblue">Thereafter "Pooch" has been studying the manners of displacer beasts. He knows how they hunt, how they mate and where they prefer to live. This knowledge has also given the blink dog an edge in fights against them. Now he has also learnt that while he is wearing the bracers his enemies find it harder to bite him, and that's always an advantage. The blink dog has gained a reputation among local people, who have given him the nickname "Pooch" to show their affection to him. Many times already has the blink dog saved the local farmers from attacks by displacer beasts. "Pooch" is currently the alpha male of his own pack, and he is glad to lead his loyal packmates into battle with the hated displacer beasts.</span></p><p><span style="color: skyblue"></span></p><p><span style="color: skyblue"><strong>How To Use "Pooch" In Your Campaign:</strong> Your players might arrive to a displacer beast infested area. According to the locals, the number of displacer beasts has been on the rise for quite a while.
