Gen Con Announcement: “The Future of Dungeons & Dragons”

In the hour or so I got to spend at Gen Con (I was so mad that they wouldn’t allow visitors’ passes this year! I was in town for a wedding and could only be there for two hours, and they expected me to pay $23! I couldn’t even get into the exhibit hall. Sigh. I’d been looking forward to that for months) I noticed a sign that said something about a big announcement about the future of Dungeons & Dragons Friday at noon. I haven’t been able to see anything about it since. Can someone give me the scoop?

I was fooled by that too.

It was the banner from 3 years ago. It was apparently part of some convention-wide trivia game or somesuch.

I got fooled by that one as well until I saw that it said Friday August 6th and figured it must be from the 3rd Edition anouncement.
