What is the Game Master Foundation?

The purpose of the GMF is to provide a place for Game Masters (GMs) to complain, share ideas, get ideas, and generally have a peaceful exchange of gaming knowledge, all from the point of view of GMs. Though the ENWorld community already serves that purpose, the GMF forum has the benefit of being private and password-protected, ensuring that GM members can share and develop their ideas online without their players having access to them.
The Game Master Foundation is moderated by a council that reviews applicants and makes decisions. Member ChaosEvoker, the GMF founder, makes sure that the council is serving the GMF well. If any council member becomes disruptive, he or she shall be removed after careful consideration by the other council members and himself.
The requirements for applicants are as follows:
Member Requirements:
1)Be a GM or have a desire to learn how.
2)There is no rating system. The GMF will only review the experience of those applying for council membership. Please admit, though, if you are inexperienced. One of the POINTS of the GMF is to help out those who are new to being behind the screen.
3) We request that all members have a link the following thread (applicants should first ask there):

Rules for All Members:
1) Be respectful to EVERYONE, EVEN INEXPERIENCED DMs. YOU were inexperienced once. Violation of this rule will get you kicked out.
2) No discussion of any novels.
3) No role-playing in any other thread except for those reserved to that activity.
4. Since the GMF forum are hosted by the huge ENWorld community, its rules still apply here. Read ENWorld's rules here:

Anyone who has a suggested rule may present it to the council where it will be reviewed and either accepted of vetoed.
