The Geek Abyss

For the last six months or so I have been slowly migrating south, and now find myself in Brownsville, TX. So now, being as far south as one can be without being in Mexico, I cannot find a game shop or comic store. Not only that, my only option for anime is Sam Goody, which is overpriced in the extreme. I can of course buy onlne, but there is a certain joy in the browsing and eventual selection of my wares, and I have never liked getting comics by mail.

I am in the Geek Abyss. Anyone else going through this?

Anyone know where such places may be in the far south of Texas?
