I concur. With enough money, you can buy practically anything you otherwise would have wished for. I think the WHO has some stats somewhere on how much in dollars it would take to end many nasty diseases. For example, for the low, low price of $10 million, we can apparently end river blindness, a disease that plagues certain regions of Africa, by giving anti-microbials to everyone in the region, cleaning up the water supply, building infrastructure, etc. So if I wish for money, suddenly I've got all this power to change the world for the better that I would have to more narrowly focus if I had only one wish.
Of course, if the genie monkey paws the wish, all bets are off.
