With the given stats (or with any stats at all--the given stats merely emphasize the problem), a character will be hard pressed to be competent in melee and have a good int (and a multiclass wizard who did would probably be better served by either Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster). And even if the character somehow managed an 18 int, he'd still be much better off using a mithral chain shirt and buckler until he reached quite high levels. The only abilities that really benefit him are Improved Reaction, Precise Strike, Acrobatic Charge, Elaborate Parry, and Deflect Arrows--none of which are gained until 2nd level--and the ability to gain decent skill points with a decent skill list in a +1 BAB/lvl, d10 HD class.</p></blockquote><p></p>
