The Great Microbrew Hunt

In another thread, it was asked what your favorite drink was, and many people included small regional beers and microbrews. I can only assume that a few of us are fans of good microbrews, and would like to get the word out on our favorites for others to enjoy, and find out some that you may not have ever heard of before. Please post your favorites in a fashion similar to mine (or as close as you can get, you may not have all the information).

Troegs Brewing Company - Harrisburg, PA
* Troegenator Double Bock - 8.2% alc

Appalachian Brewing Co - Harrisburg, PA
* Jolly Scot Scottish Ale - 5.2% alc
* Anniversary Mai Bock - 7.2% alc
* Kipona Fest - 5.2% alc

Lancaster Brewing Co - Lancaster, PA
* Hop Hog IPA
* Strawberry Wheat
* Lemmon Pepper Saison

DuClaw Brewing Company - Maryland
* Twisted Kilt Scottish Ale - 7.5%
* Misfit Red Ale - 5.1%
* Venom Pale Ale - 5.6%
* Mad Bishop Octoberfest - 5.8%

Stone Brewing Co - San Diego, CA
* Arrogant Bastard Ale

Edit: Just to note...please don't post EVERY beer from every brewery you've ever had. Please give us your personal favorites. I posted quite a list, but I like quite a lot of beer, and felt we needed a good base.

Great Lakes Brewing Co. - Cleveland, OH
Dortmunder Gold - 5.8% ABV

Dortmunder is nice and bitter without being overpowered by hops. It goes well with pretty much anything, including more beer. It also happens to be a Gold Medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival.

Another hearty vote for Tremont Ale, particularly its IPA.

Stone Brewing is another of my favorites.
*Ruination IPA (7.7% ABV)

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
www.dogfish.com
*60 Minute IPA (6% ABV)
*90 Minute IPA (9% ABV)
*120 Minute IPA (21% ABV!)

Redhook Ale Brewery
www.redhook.com
*Redhook IPA (6.51% ABV)

And for the brief portion of the year when my tongue regenerates...

Brooklyn Brewery
www.brooklynbrewery.com
*Black Chocolate Stout (8.7% ABV)

I suppose International Bitterness Units are more instructive than ABV in my case.

Wow, definately the first person I've ever met that can handle the 90 and 120 minute IPAs from Dogfish Head. I sampled the 90 minute at a beerfest a year ago and nearly puked on it just from the nasty taste...I can't imagine the 120.
