I enjoyed his pieces, which are well written in a very authoritative tone, and attempted to implement that style in my own game. I wasn't very good at it and my players didn't really enjoy it, but it still took me at least a couple of years, and the influence of Oriental Adventures, to find my way to a style of scenario design and GMing that was better suited to what I and my players wanted.</blockquote>
