After hours running through the dense forest, his pursuers gave up, but he was in the middle of a forest with nowhere to go. He survived for months in the wilderness and found a road at the edge of the forest where he planned to ambush any raiders. Instead he met a mercenary company of good spirits, and joined them. Still wondering if his friends turned him in so many years ago, he has a hard time really trusting someone, but doesn't show that outwards. He's reluctant to speak of his background more than very generally, saying that he was a slave or prisoner of war, but nothing more than that. He sometimes has a little hard to understand hints and social indicators from other people, but it's not a real problem. He's of average height, muscular, and his skin is fair though reddened by months in the sun and years at the anvil. He keeps his hair and beard short, cutting them when needed, but don't care about shaving. The hair is brown, as is his eyes. He's got somewhat of a stomach, finally being able to savour the good of life after the years in slavery, but it isn't big enough to actually hinder him. Born in a small rural town constantly plagued by bandit raids and the occacional goblin invasion, he saw more than his fair share of suffering when growing up.
