Many a parent has scoffed at their child's imaginary friend, but in fact, some these are real. Individuals who have chosed to fade permanently from the sight of most creatures, imaginary frinds live a strange, sometimes parasitic existence and seem fascinated by children. Evil imaginary friends enjoy scaring or molesting children while good imaginary friends help and guard their young pals. Hit Die: d4 Requirements: School specialization (illusion). Spell Focus (illusion), Extend Spell. Hide (6 ranks), Move Silently (6 ranks). Ability to cast Selective Invisibility. Class Skills: Bluff (cha), Concentration (con), Diplomacy (cha), Disguise (cha), Hide (dex), Intimidate (cha), Move Silently (dex), Perform (cha), Sense Motive (wis), Spellcraft (int). Skill points/level: 2+int bonus Base Attack: As wizard Good Saves: Reflex and Will Poor Saves: Fortitude Level Special 1 Dimness, +1 caster level 2 Child Fixation, Faded Existence 3 +1 caster level 4 Partial Invisibility 5 Eye of the Invisible, +1 caster level 6 +1 caster level 7 World of Invisibility 8 +1 caster level 9 Evasion, +1 caster level 10 Disembodied Existence Class Features: No proficiency in weapons or armor are gained by an imaginary friend. Dimness (su): The imaginary friend is hard to notice. The DCs of all Spot or Listen checks to detect her are increased by four. This is a mind-affecting ability. Faded Existence (su): It is increasingly hard to discern the imaginary friend's exact location. All targeted attacks suffer a 10% miss chance. This is a mind-affecting ability. Child Fixation (ex): The imaginary friend becomes oddly obsessed with children. This fixation comes out in different ways depending on the imaginary friend's alignment and disposition. Partial Invisibility (su): The imaginary friend is invisible to most creatures. However, children, animals, vermin, fey and creatures the imaginary friend speaks to, attacks, touches, or casts a spell at (including area of effect spells) can see her normally for 24 hours. Also, strangely, other invisible creatures can see her normally. Eye of the Invisible (su): The imaginary friend can see invisible creatures and objects just as if they were visible. World of Invisibility (su): The imaginary friend is now invisible except to other invisible creatures. If she attacks, touches, or casts a spell, the target of the spell, attack or touch can see her normally for one minute. The imaginary friend also becomes aware of a strange world full of invisible creatures not normally detectable that coexists with both the material plane and the plane of shadows. (This counts as contact with a pseudonatural force for purposes of qualifying for the alienist prestige class or similar purposes.) Disembodied Existence (su): The imaginary friend becomes incorporeal. Furthermore, her spells will only directly affect corporeal targets if they are from the schools of illusion, enchantment or divination, or are a force effect. The spell selective invisibility follows: Selective Invisibility Level: 3 As invisibility, but you can choose to allow other creatures to see you. You must designate who will be able to see you at the time you cast this spell. Furthermore, when you attack you only become visible to the creature(s) you attack. Hope you all enjoy this one... it could certainly make for a strange, creepy villain if nothing else!
