Just wanted to drop a line and give everyone an update on what's going on with The Inner Circle. We just posted our Official Violet Dawn website. To check it out, visit: http://www.violetdawn.com
There has been way too much added to the website for me to do a write up on everything, though I will mention a few highlights and provide some links:
• Design Diary–Our Design Diary takes a look at the process of creating a campaign setting from start to finish. In our first installment, we discuss what we are doing to make Violet Dawn an interesting campaign setting. http://www.violetdawn.com/gnd_diary.html
• Rules–This section discusses Taint rules for Violet Dawn campaigns. It expands on the existing rules for Taint, by including new spells, new feats, and a new magic item: The Staff of Tainted Might. http://www.violetdawn.com/gnd_taint.html
• Characters–This section introduces our Violet Dawn Iconic Heroes and Iconic villains. Each NPC is ready to use and comes complete with a detailed history and role-playing information, as well stats all the way up to level 20. Our iconic villain, Adta, also makes use of our expanded Taint rules. http://www.violetdawn.com/world_characters.html
In other updates, Denizens of Avadnu is in customs right now and should be shipping very soon. Denizens of Avadnu will be available at better game and hobby stores this very month. In our first review from Joe G. Kushner of EN World fame, we scored a 5 out of 5! Finally, our Epic Level Monster Collection, Legends of Avadnu, has been pushed back till later this month. There was a bout of the flu that affected most of our design team. We will be posting some preview monsters from Legends of Avadnu in a week or so.
